The meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by John LeReche (all were present except Linda Rule)

Minutes: The minutes of the 20 March 2001 Board Meeting were reviewed and approved.

Old Business:

  1. Patricia Karlsson indicated that she and Linda Rule had developed a flexible alternative for exterior lights to amend our Cluster standards. They recommend that rather than setting a specific standard that we opt for two categories of lights, Traditional Brass and Mission Style.
  2. Bob McCausland indicated that new mailboxes would be rather expensive and that they only seemed to be available in larger clustered quantities than we currently enjoy. Bob will reconsider rehabilitation of our current boxes.
  3. Pete Blondin reminded the Board that our Annual Meeting was set for Wednesday 9 May 2001 at Langston Hughes Intermediate School.

New Business:

  1. The Board developed the following topics as a potential agenda for the Annual Meeting.
bulletElection of Officers to fill the three year terms being concluded by Tom Mulkerin and John LeReche. Both Tom and John indicated a willingness to run again. Bob will handle the election since John is considering running again.
bulletNext Year’s Budget … Pete will work with Tom and Linda regarding Budget Monitoring
bulletRepaving the Cluster … John indicated that a special committee would be appropriate
bulletCluster Homes Exterior Lighting … Patricia will present alternatives
bulletGrounds Maintenance Initiatives … Linda will be asked to discuss our requirements

2. Meeting Notification. Pete will prepare the required notifications for the Annual Meeting.

The next meeting will be 9 May 2001 at 7:30 pm at Langston Hughes Intermediate.

Meeting Adjournment: Adjourned at 9 pm.
