The meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Pete Blondin (all but John LeReche were present)
Mr. Eugene Luke, a new Cluster resident living at 2040 Lakewinds Dr. attended the session.

Minutes: The minutes of the 11 September 2001 Board Meeting were reviewed and approved.

Old Business:

1. The Cluster has sent letters to the owners of 3 unregistered automobiles asking that they register or remove them. All have now done so.
2. Tom Mulkerin related that the Cluster now only has 1 Cluster home with a lien placed against it. All others are reasonably current.
3. The Board continued discussion of repaving requirements.

New Business:

1. The Board discussed the above 3 topics of old business. The Cluster intends to use the new Web site (LakewindsCluster.org) as a major communication tool with Cluster members.
2. Linda Rule related numerous grounds issues. Briefly, some of the bushes at the left of our entrance have acquired ‘Scale’ and should recover in the Spring. The Grounds contractor will performed leaf removal in mid-October, and will return in late November and early December. The Tree contractor has performed pruning in mid-October. Linda has identified 3 potential repaying contractors and will open discussions with them to begin to get a better handle on likely costs. Linda anticipates receiving a draft Snow Removal contract for signature in the next few days.
3. Linda is still preparing RA requests to facilitate the new ‘Mission’ and ‘Brass’ lighting fixtures and to allow the use of modern recycled plastic for deck surfaces and Patricia will call the County to see about enlarging and making our Lakewinds sign more visible.
4. Bob McCausland will contact Lakewinds Cluster homeowners with excessive debris in their yards and request corrective actions.
5. Bob McCausland and Pete Blondin will look over Cluster homes for Stain variations and maintenance problems.

The next Board meeting will be 8 January 2002 at 7:00 pm at Patricia Karlsson’s home.
