The meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by John LeReche (all were present)

Minutes: The minutes of the 28 June 2001 Board Meeting were reviewed and approved.

Old Business:

1. The Deleo’s have replace/repainted their white clad windows (at the rear of their home) with the standard brown color in the Cluster’s exterior specifications.
2. The Cluster has sent letters to the owners of 3 unregistered automobiles asking that they register or remove them.
3. The Cluster has acquired a Domain name (www.LakewindsCluster.org) and has established a Cluster Web Site.

New Business:

1. The Board discussed the above 3 topics of old business. The Cluster intends to use the new Web site as a major communication tool with Cluster members.
2. Tom Mulkerin related that the Cluster has placed liens against 2 Cluster homes with substantial past due dues.
3. The Board discussed the need to begin planning for the 2002 repaving. The Board intends to seek a few volunteers to plan and control the project. The Cluster note announcing the Web site will include the call for volunteers.
4. Linda Rule related numerous grounds issues. Briefly, some of the bushes at the left of our entrance have acquired ‘Scale’ and should recover in the Spring. The Grounds contractor will perform 3 leaf removals this fall beginning in mid-October. The Tree contractor will perform pruning in mid-October.
5. Linda was requested to seek an estimate for re-roofing carports for inclusion in next year’s budget.
6. Linda will prepare RA requests to facilitate the new ‘Mission’ and ‘Brass’ llighting fixtures and to allow the use of modern recycled plastic for deck surfaces.
7. Patricia will call the County to see about enlarging and making our Lakewinds sign more visible.

The next Board meeting will be 13 November 2001 at 7:30 pm at Tom Mulkerin’s home.
