The meeting was called to order at
7:10 p.m. by Bill Cook.
Tom Mulkerin & John LeReche were absent. 15 households
represented the cluster.
Business:
- Bill Cook began by welcoming our new homeowners
followed by introductions of all in attendance.
- Janice Esser introduced the budget for the coming
year and indicated that the association had collected
sufficient funds to begin the cluster repaving effort and the
$80 special assessment ended with the April 2003 billing.
The association dues will remain at $300 for the
coming year.
- Linda Rule discussed grounds improvement for the
previous year that included landscaping, tree removal, and
outside lighting repairs. Cluster
improvements for the coming year will include landscaping
& carport repair.
- Linda also discussed the repaving effort which will
begin Monday 16 June 2003 followed by curb & sidewalk
repair then painting and striping.
- Linda generated handouts for those in attendance
addressing insects & pests, paving and the cluster color
palette.
- Linda also recommended that since the grace period
to use the old stain has ended that any future staining
should be accomplished with the new color palette guidelines
that can be viewed at our Lakewinds website at http://www.LakewindsCluster.org/.
- The floor was open to nominate two new board members
since Tom Mulkerin and John LeReche are rotating out. Both Mary Medlin & Jim Naughton were
nominated and accepted as new board members.

the next board meeting set as indicated below.
