Charles Russell called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM at Langston Hughes Intermediate School cafeteria. Table I shows those attending.

Business:

1. New mailbox installation: At least one new mailbox is scheduled for installation this year. Contractors for doing these small jobs are scarce and must be hired when available.
2. Treasurer’s Report: Mr. Russell presented the FY 2006 report and FY 2007 budget and answered questions. No objections were raised. A new bookkeeper is being sought, to replace Mr. Swanson. When that person is found, an independent audit of Cluster financial status and administration will be conducted, primarily to determine whether the Reserve Fund is adequate to cover expected maintenance needs in the Cluster’s aging physical plant.
3. Grounds Maintenance: Ms. Rule presented the grounds improvements for 2006 and plans for 2007.  
4. Cluster Incorporation Status: Cluster incorporation status is current until June, 2007.  The Treasurer will pay the annual incorporation fee ($25) and the Real Estate Agency tax ($40) to the State Corporation Commission at that time,.  RA keeps close watch on this matter and will help us if we have any questions.
5. Election of Officers: Mr. Russell’s term has expired and Ms. Karlsson has resigned. Rob Serenyi, Dino Perez and Cheryl Tipton were nominated to fill the vacancies. Ms. Tipton and Mr. Serenyi were elected.

The newly constituted Board met after the Annual Meeting adjourned and elected the following officers for the 2007-2008 year:

Secretary: Robert Hanlon, 2015 Lakewinds Drive

Treasurer: Rob Serenyi, 11220 Lagoon Lane

At-Large: Norman Krasnegor, 2013 Lakewinds Drive

The next Second Lakewinds Board meeting will be held during the last week of May. Regular Board Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
