Collection and Recycling Service

Trash collection in the Cluster is on Mondays and Thursdays. Pickup
of recyclables is on Fridays. Service is suspended if the pickup day
falls on certain holidays. For details click here.

Maintenance

The Cluster maintains the common property that was deeded to it at
inception. A significant portion is landscaped with turf and various
plants and trees. Each homeowner is responsible for maintaining the
grounds that lie within their house's lot lines. For more information,

Maintenance

The Cluster's property has a number of trees that are on Cluster property.
The Association obtains the services of a certified arborist to recommend
work to maintain and preserve these valuable resources. Individual
homeowners are responsible for maintaining trees that lie within their own

- Snow &
Ice Removal

During the winter season, the Cluster retains the services of a snow
removal contractor for clearing snow from the Cluster's roads and parking
areas, and for spreading salt and sand when conditions warrant.
Individual homeowners are responsible for clearing snow from their walkways
and the portion of the sidewalk that runs in front of their home. For

The Cluster's walks and parking areas are
illuminated at night by various lights throughout the Cluster. For

- Road and
Pavement Maintenance

The Cluster "owns" its two roads, Lakewinds Drive and Lagoon
Lane, and is responsible for the maintenance of their blacktop pavement, as
well as for the concrete sidewalks and curbs that border the streets.
Individual homeowners are responsible for maintain the walkways and patios

- Boat Docking

The Cluster owns and maintains two docks and canoe racks for the use of
all residents. Many of the homes in the Cluster are 'Deeded Waterfront
Property' and have the right to dock boats at their shoreline (in compliance
with Reston Association Policy). Others non-waterfront homeowners are
allowed to dock boats under Cluster guidelines. For details click
